We remember the first CreamFeilds experience we had was in 2010 with David Guetta playing till we saw the SUNRISE, okay granted that was not supposed to happen ... there were some unfortunate events whereby Mr. Guetta was detained when he landed in Abu Dhabi. Meaning he arrived late, he arrived when his show was scheduled to end which was around 2:00am, Imagine a huge crowed of people waiting for him to arrive till 2:30am "keeping in mind this was the time we were supposed to be heading home" and finally he came, and he played and gave us a FULL THROTTLE SHOW till about 5:45am !!!!! it was an amazing experience over all. And we recommend that you get your early bird tickets from now, because tickets get rather pricey and run out months before the event !!!

Next Thursday, 25th of April our very own "Sorbonnian" and Student Council Member Farah Chamma will be co-hosting a OPEN MIC event within the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair "ADIBF". Poets of all ages, languages and with or without credentials are invited to come read their work to the public. We know we have some Poetic Sorbonnians on compus, so if you would like to participate in the competition "oh yea we forgot mention you could be the winner to some cool prizes" or maybe just support our fellow comrade during this event.

Red Bull X-Fighters Back this YEAR in DUBAI

The Tallest Building in the World to Witness the Return of Red Bull X-Fighters.

After hosting the season opener for 2 consecutive years, Dubai (UAE) will be the 2nd destination in 2013 for the 12 riders! And changing from the sandy beach and iconic Jumeirah Beach Residence towers, on April 12, it is the unique Burj Khalifa that will witness action, thrill and excitement of the Red Bull X-Fighters.

From its 828m height, or its 160 stories, the tallest building in the world is the heart of Dubai where the modern city and the - not so far -desert meet.

Video: stunt men changes his car tyres while driving

Have you seen car tyres being changed while the vehicle is moving? If not, then watch this video reported to have been shot in Saudi Arabia.

A Saudi driver and his friend appeared to have been influenced by stunt performances seen in movies when cars are tilted and driven on two tyres.

But these two Saudis went further as the driver kept the vehicle running on two tyres while the other opened the door and changed the two tyres on the lifted side in one of the riskiest stunt show in the Gulf kingdom.

Sharq Arabic language daily, which published the 400-second YouTube film, did not say where exactly in Saudi Arabia the show took place.

GUNS N’ ROSES LIVE IN ABU DHABI

Their first sell-out performance in Abu Dhabi drew rock fans from across the Middle East and now eighties rock legends Guns N’ Roses are making their long-awaited return to the Capital.
FLASH is bringing back front man Axl Rose, DJ Ashba, Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson, Richard Fortus, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Chris Pitman and Frank Ferrer to the du Arena, Yas Island, on Thursday 28 March.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April last year, Guns N’ Roses remain as one of the world’s most popular bands continuing to sell out concerts worldwide.
